Cub Scout Pack 978 in Cypress, Texas, part of the Sam Houston Area Council, is sponsored by Farney Elementary PTO in the Cypress-Fairbanks ISD.

Just like our host Farney Elementary, Pack 978 is a young, eager pack emphasizing character and spirit.

Pack 978 likes to keep active. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting - citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness.

We are proud of Pack 978's abundant opportunities for advancement and recognition. Many of the activities happen right in the den and pack. We highly value weekly den meetings and monthly pack meetings.

Apart from the fun and excitement of Cub Scout activities and advancement, the Cub Scout Promise, the Law of the Pack, the Tiger Cub motto, and the Cub Scout sign, handshake, motto, and salute all teach good citizenship and contribute to a scout's sense of belonging.
